The only request with really much thought put into it. Not to mention a series I know, which makes writing it easier. It's hard to try and cover something I don't know about. Anyways for him and to show I can totally do some stuff still, here's it is. A Hunter X Hunter Story, with Pride from FMA Brotherhood. As he asked. It's a bit gory in one part, but other than that more tame like normal.
Hunters and Hunted
Chairman Netero of the Hunter's Association had been reported of a disturbance on Greed Island. Despite the game being over and players having mostly either left the island, stayed for the game or were heading home since Gon had collected all the cards, more and more disappearances have occurred. The bombers had of course been the first to be considered suspects, but Gon and his friends had already put a stop to them. Seeing as how Gon and Killua had the most experience on Greed Island, the two of them were ordered to handle whatever is making the disappearances. However the two had been told word of the most disturbing part of the disappearances before being sent off.
Gon and Killua trekked through the canyon, avoiding all the games creatures with ease. There wasn’t any time to be fighting anything else. “I can’t believe even the game masters themselves disappeared.” Gon brought up in discussion as he kept up pace with Killua. “Some of those guys were really strong. How could they just vanish without a trace?”
Killua had thought about it, and shared his process with his best friend. “They couldn’t have just left without alerting anyone. There’s no way they’d leave these training grounds like that. That only leaves the possibility that they have either been attacked and taken hostage, or killed.”
Gon looked down, clenching his fist. He had thought about Razor and how they befriended him after that intense life or death dodgeball game. Razor was close with his dad, who still eluded him even after Greed Island. Hopefully he was ok. “After we find whoever or whatever did this, I want to find Razor. I gotta make sure he is ok.”
Killua smiled, Gon was always concerned about his friends, even if they tried to kill him once. Loyalty was one of his strong suits. “Alright, but we may want to split up. It’s getting dark and tracking a whole island together may be difficult. If you’re in trouble, just contact me with your cell phone and I’ll be right over.
“Gotcha.” Gon said with a nod as the two split up and went their separate ways. Killua headed towards the Soufrabi while Gon headed towards the forestry areas as he was most comfortable navigating through loads of trees with his acute sense of hearing, as he had done back home on Whale Island. Unknowingly to both of them, they were not just facing any monster, but something out of this world. A pair of vicious eyes watched from the bushes as they separated, and departed out of thin air.
Gon leapt through tree after tree, using his strong nose and incredible sense of hearing to try and pick up something. He leapt to the ground once he had caught some scent, and carefully treed the area. “Strange, this smell, I don’t have a clue who or what it could belong to.” He thought to himself. He sniffed the air some more, before coming up to a torn apart tree.
He leaped onto the ground and closely analyzed the damage to the bark, to determine what might have cut through it. He looked to see if it was warm or possibly how clean the cut was. With this he could tell how fresh the damage is or whether he’d be up against something that perhaps had fire based abilities. “Hm, that’s a clean cut like no other. No claw marks, or blade imprint at all. It could almost be mistaken for just some sort of fluke or natural disaster.”
Soon there was weeping and screaming, which caught Gon’s attention. He heard a voice. “Help please, there’s a monster after me!” He sprung into action immediately and came across a small boy running in the woods with tears in his eyes.
“Don’t worry I’ll protect you.” Gon called out as he dashed towards the troubled child. Yet at the back of his head, he already was wondering what a boy was doing on Greed Island of all places.
Killua had entered the closest town, and it was not a pretty sight. There was quite the mess with blood covering the stone tiles, bodies torn apart, as well as no commotion in sight. “Whatever was here is gone now. It doesn’t sound like anyone survived.” Killua said as he continued to walk past the corpses. Being a professional assassin, he’d been desensitized to a pile of bodies whether his family or he himself had done the killing.
“Very precise cuts, so we have an expert killer here. It’s definitely not some beast, otherwise the cuts would be more sloppy and show signs of claw marks.” He continued to examine the bodies, looking for an idea of what the murder weapon could be. If this killer could cut so cleanly through a person, then they’re not just some amateur. Though he already knew that with the game master's disappearances
He received a call from Gon on his cell phone, which he immediately answered. “Gon, are you in any danger. Give me a location and I’ll be there right away!” Killua expressed his concern loudly. He wasn’t going to let this killer hurt his friend.
“It’s alright Killua. I found a small boy here. He was running and crying from the monster that was after him. He said something about it taking his dad away.” Gon responded with the boy with him. The young boy held on tight to Gon’s leg for protection.
Killua shared the same thought Gon had. Why is a kid in such a dangerous place? Either he was more capable than they realized, or there something else about him they didn’t know. “Alright then meet up with me in Soufrabi so we can better protect the kid.”
“Right, I’ll be there as soon as I can.” Gon replied before he hung up. “Alright just hop onto my back and I’ll get you to safety.” Gon told the young kid. The kid nodded and reluctantly got on his back. As soon as he did, Gon started to smell something foul. “It’s here...but what is this feeling?” Gon wondered out loud. Gon started to feel a shiver down his spine. He couldn’t see anyone else close by, and yet he could feel he was completely surrounded somehow.
Killua continued to check the bodies for more clues for the prey they were hunting, but he kept stumbling into confusion. How could such brutality and force not leave a more noticeable trail? Then suddenly, a corpse started coughing. Killua’s eyes opened widely as he gasped upon hearing a cold breath.
A young woman crawled to him, but Killua upon noticing her was horrified. She was a nen user like he was, but she was only half the women she used to be. Her entire lower torso was gone. She had been bleeding tremendously, as her nen barely kept her life alive. “Y..you’re..alive. You have to tell me right now what did this! I need something concrete, anything!”
She continued to crawl closer, coughing up blood as she did. Her voice would be too soft spoken if she tried to raise it in her condition. Killua ran closer to save himself time. “We’ll get you patched up if you can hold on longer, but I need to know what’s out there. My friend could be in trouble.”
The women had trouble speaking. She barely could push breath out of her mouth. “B....boy...beware......dar....da...darkne....ness.....d......de...dem.....on...” She then passed away upon giving Killua all she could muster. Killua clenched his fist upon seeing her give everything she had before passing on to the next life.
“Boy? Darkness? Demon? Darkness must be its power...somehow. I’ve never heard of something like that. Must be a nen specialist.” Killua thought more on her words, completely overlooking a key detail until it hit him. “Boy...boy...BOY!” He realized Gon was in more trouble than he realized.
Killua immediately pulled outhis Cell phone and shouted into it. “GON THAT BOY, GET AWAY FROM HIM!” But no one responded. Killua kept on shouting only to hear static. His nails grew as he clenched his fist, drawing blood from his palms as they stabbed into him. Tears started to run down his eyes. “Gon you can’t die...I need you.”
He then heard the static grow louder as he soon heard an erupting belch from his cell phone. “Lovely friend you had there. He was such easy prey. But he is quite powerful, so his power we’ll be welcome into my body like the other powerful humans who weren’t insects.”
A growl uttered from Killua as he heard a kids voice. That crying act was a trick. He was ashamed to not be more suspicious, despite thinking about why a kid would be on this island. But it now seemed confirmed that Razor was dead for sure. It wasn't in him to run from a fight. “You talk as if Gon is still alive. If you don’t return him to me, I’ll kill you, without hesiation!”
Killua could barely hear Gon’s voice as he shouted his Jajanken technique. He heard a little grunt, before another loud belch. “I look forward to seeing you. I hope you’re as strong as he is...or soon was.” The cell phone then went back to static, as by now the moon was up in the sky in full. Killua stood up determined to save his friend, and eliminate this pest.
The boy waited in the forest, allowing his presence to be known to his oncoming enemy. He sported a large fleshy gut, which on the inside was stronger than it appeared on the outside. “You might as well give up and digest, but if you last long enough, then perhaps your friend can be in there with you.” He chuckled.
“Killua will beat you. I have nothing to worry about.” Gon shouted angrily as well as defiantly. The boy growled as this older kid wasn’t the least bit afraid. Not afraid of dying or afraid of his own terrifying powers. He scoffed at Gon. It didn’t matter if he was afraid or not. His power would increase once Gon added to it, just as his own comrades and so many others had.
A sudden rustle in the trees was heard, before a pale white pre-teen had made a thunderous landing dead center in front of Gon’s troublesome little boy. Killua peered towards the cold black eyes of the boy, and noticed the rustling bloated stomach he had. He could barely hear Gon’s voice from in there. “I’ll say this once more. Release Gon, or I will kill you without hesitation.” Killua’s voice was entirely stern and serious. The boy could pick up on it immediately.
“You think you can talk to me like that? You’re nothing but a human. I on the other hand am so much more.” A wide grin formed on the boys face as Killua took a fighting stance. If this thing had capture Gon, then it’s nothing to sneer at. He had best be ready to fight with the intent to kill.
Suddenly Killua felt a shiver down his spine as Gon had. He turned his head scouting the area as he felt surrounded. He couldn't see or smell anything nearby. How could this be possible? Who was this demon kid? Killua gasped as he quickly sensed an attack and dodged out of the way. He smelled a fowl stench just now and his eyes widened. Upon dodging he saw some dark shadow like tendril that looked sharper than any mere blade.
“Cheh, you’re faster than I thought. But no matter, you won’t be able to avoid me for long.” The boy smirked as dozens of more dark shadow tendrils erupted from the ground, as Killua expression followed with shock. He launched and bounced himself from tree to tree to avoid the shadow tendrils, but he was being attacked from so many angles at once. It was hard to anticipate where he'd be attacked next.
“What is this guy? I’ve never heard of a Nen technique like this before? It’s as if I’m fighting a hundred people at once.” Killua thought to himself. He kept on avoiding the blows, until his shoulder was struck, pierced by the shadows. He let out a cry of pain as he grabbed his now bleeding shoulder, while making a safe landing upon his feet.
The boy chuckled once more. “You really think you can take on a homunculus? We are gods compared to you.” His expression was that of a remorseless killer. He licked his lips as he drummed his Gon filled stomach. “Your friend has managed to protect himself somehow, but it just means you’ll get to be seeing him soon. I will consume you both.”
As he finished his proclamation, Killua saw large eyes in the shadows, as well as large sharp teeth grinning at him. Even he couldn’t help but feel frightened by them. What sort of hellish abomination was he fighting right now? He couldn’t scout out this homunculus’ abilities any longer. He’d have to go all out even if he ran out of juice. He looked towards the demon like child with new found conviction.
The homunculus looked on intrigued? “Oh, you come up with something? Well you’re welcome to try again, but you couldn’t even come the nearest bit close to me before. I had you running like the coward you are.” The shadow on the ground expanded as it closed in on Killua. “Father will be pleased with my progression. He will no longer be interested in the others like Greed. He only needs Pride.”
Killua took a deep breath before clenching his fists. “Godspeed!” He proclaimed as his hair then started to stand up, and his body glowed blue. Electricity began to surround him from head to toe, as Pride looked on. Even Pride lost some of his confidence upon seeing Killua transform all of the sudden.
Pride growled and attacked with his shadow like tendrils once more, all from several different angles. Killua’s eyes glanced between his surroundings as each tendril was ready to cleave right through him. At the very last instant, Killua had vanished from where he stood, as the shadow tendrils pierced the ground effortlessly. Pride looked on in shock as he didn’t even see Killua move at all. He didn’t have much time to react as Killua had moved behind him, his finger nails out ready to tear Pride apart. Killua reaches in, but only manages to scratch Prides face as he manages to avoid it with his shadows.
“So fast! I can barely keep up with him.” Pride stated as he had once again lost him. He then heard Killua’s voice echo in the forest as he continually looked around for wherever he could be. “Show yourself human! I will kill you!” Pride shouted.
“You don’t have to let Gon go anymore.” Killua said as Pride looked out in the dark confused and panicked. “I am going to take him back from you, and I am going to kill you. I no longer have any urge to spare you.” Killua said as Pride’s eyes widened. That guy couldn’t stop him. As long as it was night, the shadows would make it almost impossible to track his movements as they were practically invisible.
A lightning bolt then shot right at Pride, which exploded in a large flash of light. Pride winced as the massive amount of light forced his shadows to retreat for now. “Oh, so you move your shadows through absorbing light, but too much and they have to retreat for a bit. Like a flash bang blinding you.” Killua said still moving faster than Pride could see.
Pride was now a nervous wreck. He couldn’t concentrate as Killua kept on firing shot after shot. As Pride prepared for a counter attack he heard yelling from inside his stomach. “ROCK!” Pride felt a hard punch inside of him. He winced from the blow. Now that other kid was fighting inside? He couldn’t possibly fight them both off at the same time like this. With no other option, Pride was forced to release Gon out of his stomach so he wouldn’t be distracted from the inside. He already beat Gon once, so surely he could do it again? Pride wiped his mouth Killua stood behind him. “Idiot.”
Pride turned around as a massive bolt of lightning illuminated the area, constantly flashing like a continuous flash grenade that crackled. His Shadow’s retreated, but he knew once the flashing ended he could quickly pull his shadows out again. “Looks like I need to use this assassin technique to keep you from materializing those shadows.”
With not even a moment passing between uttering those words, Killua closed in and clamped his jaws around Pride. Pride’s eyes widened as this guy was able to swallow him? Killua knew of this assassin’s technique, used to get rid of targets bodies without leaving a trace. It wasn’t too popular with assassins as it took quite a while to get rid of a body, and limited mobility. However containing this homunculus inside him should keep his shadows from having being able to be cast in a darkened room.
Pride struggled as the lightning started to fade, allowing Pride’s shadows to return. He smirked as they slowly formed once more. Killua had noticed as he took one large swallow to force Pride’s head into his throat, bulging it out with the boys face imprinted on the skin. Pride was disgusted, but he had a means of stopping this. A shadow tendril attacked Killua from behind, as he was distracted with devouring Pride.
“SCISSORS!” Gon shouted as his two fingers were shrouded in Nen. He cut the tendrils clean in half. “Pride could tell his shadows were attacked on the outside by someone else, and gasped in shock. How did this Gon person recover so quickly? It appeared though Gon would protect Killua as Killua had saved Gon. They’d work together to put down this homunculus.
Killua had no time to really enjoy this homunculus as he quickly swallowed the smaller boy’s chest. Admittedly for such a fowl being, this kid didn’t taste half bad. In truth the outer boy’s appearance was merely a vessel to move around, and not Pride’s true form. Gon really didn’t understand what Killua was doing, or how he was doing it, but he trusted his friend to know that whatever it was it probably would be the best course of action.
Pride’s shoulders and arms were pinned to the sides as Killua started to engulf them in his mouth. He could not believe how physically strong Killua was. He did not have the strength of a person his age. He had strength far beyond any normal human. So long as Gon kept fighting off the shadows, Pride couldn’t do anything. He felt Killua’s saliva coat him as he made his way down the darkening throat. His body was being lubricated to be gulped down faster.
Killua quickly shoved Prides stomach and waist down his esophagus, as he did not have much time before Gon would tire out. He was fully aware Gon was pushing himself at this point. The minute he runs out of energy, Killua would have an extremely hard time swallowing Pride. Killua knew Gon would sooner pass out before stopping, so he was in good care.
“Your friend won’t stop me. Soon I will devour and kill the both of you. I will absorb you and father will show his appreciation.” Pride proclaimed as he wriggled helplessly, while his shadows were constantly fended off by Gon. He felt his legs wriggle in the air as Killua tilted his head back.
At this point Prides' head had reached the opening to Killua’s stomach, which smelled of chocolate, and had a similar heat to that Roy Mustang human's fire alchemy that killed Lust. He tried to wriggle free, but to no success. His face was dunked in stomach bile and juices, as the stomach and throat muscles contracted and pulled Pride inside. On the outside Killua couldn’t help but moan just a little bit. If only this technique didn’t hinder missions so much, perhaps he could have enjoyed it more often. He felt his pale white stomach slowly expand between his shirt and shorts. He rubbed it pleasingly as he hadn’t enjoyed something like this in quite a while.
He swallowed hard once more, and began to slurp up Prides legs. One hand was placed on his white pale dome of a stomach, as he could feel it expand and struggle with the homunculus becoming his meal now. Gon was tiring out now though so Killua quickly speed up his pace. Once Gon grew exhausted, the tendrils started to get by him and attack Killua.
As the tendrils closed in, they were shocked by Killua’s lightning aura, and disintegrated. “What but how, I got past that stupid fool!” Pride called out as Killua chuckled with his mouth full. He knew though his aura was the true last line of defense, and that it would only shortly protect him. It’d wear off with constant abuse. It was still up to Gon to keep on protecting him.
Killu started to slurp Prides legs into his mouth like noodles, making loud noises as he sluuuuuurped up those legs. He then quickly removed Prides shoes, and pulled his feet inside his mouth with his tongue. Tilting his head back one last time, Killua gulped hard. Pride slid down into Killua’s stomach completely, fully encased in the gurgling damp chamber. The gurgles and churning sounds echoed in his ear as he was sealed in Killua’s stomach. Once inside, the shadows on the outside faded. Pride had no light to cast his shadows upon, leaving him completely helpless in a pitch dark area.
Killua sighed and landed on his bum, legs outstretched as his belly hung between them. He patted his stomach once more before letting out a loud wet deafening belch. “You’re a real idiot, but you taste good for a fool.” Killua said to his gut as he stroked it lovingly. Gon turned to see his friend once he caught his breath.
“How did you do that Killua...that’s quite the technique?” Gon said cheerfully. Only he would probably barely react to Killua just eating someone whole with not a care in the world.
Killua looked up and smiled. “Yeah it’s great for getting rid of people without a trace being left behind, but it makes moving around harder as well as sometimes being too noisy.” As he said that his stomach’s gurgles echoed the forest and Killua looked away a little embarrassed. “Like that.”
Gon laughed as he stroked Killua’s stomach. “Maybe I could learn that from you, it looks like it could be a useful move.” Gon told his friend as he comforted him. He was glad Killua had rescued him, as well as he was happy he could protect his friend in return.”
“URRRRRP! Uh, yeah I could...or maybe I could see how you taste. You look pretty yummy.” Killua said with a smirk as Gon backed away.
“No way I don’t wanna be eaten.” Gon said with a laugh. He could tell Killua was joking. “I just want to learn how to do that. Don’t eat me.”
“No promises.” Killua says as he sat up and patted his stomach, much to the continued annoyance of pride.
Killua then licked his lips and darted towards Gon, who then ran into the trees and hopped along the branches. “You’re not gonna catch me Killua.” Gon said as he fled. Killua chuckled as he pursued. He wasn’t joking about being curious about how his friend tasted, but he was just playing around with Gon. He laughed as he chased Gon, and his stomach began digesting the homunculus inside. Killua enjoyed the feeling as the wicked boy slowly melted down. He could feel his stomach slowly shrink as he chased after Gon. Soon Pride would be nothing but fat and pudge on Killua. Something for him to work off when he wanted to be more lean again. Killua let out one last little burp as he felt his stomach continue to work on Pride, happy he and Gon made it out alive.
