It was an educational game, that did a first person male(I think) tree transformation, where in we do get a good shot of the shoes coming a part and toes becoming roots...this is in the United States, in the late 90s to early 00s I think.
But definitely pre-2001...I think. It's hard to remember. It's been 15 years. I would need to probably check the usual suspects. The Learning Company maybe? It's so hard to remember, it was a western cartoon style.
