A cat skull and a human skull in lateral view. I used a morphing program to put a grid over them, matching the anatomy as closely as possible. The bottom row of skulls shows from left to right: 75% cat and 25% human, 50/50, and 25% cat and 75% human.

Fascinating!
I would love to try the same thing based on 3D models of the skulls. It would give a more faithful shape than what 2D points can achieve for anything that isn't strictly linear on the sagittal plane... one good example would be where the coronoid process of the mandible moves underneath the
zygomatic process.
