Anyone who has ever played the game "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly" has likely felt my rage and frustration.
I mean, you are supposed to be rescuing these dragonflies, right? But when you find them, they ZOOM AWAY AT 9,000,000 MPH AND TAUNT YOU FROM A DISTANCE. Fuckers!!! Makes me INSANE. I don't want to RESCUE them so much as I want to KILL THEM A LOT.
This is one of the first finished pieces I've been able to complete without inadvertently ruining it in aaages. DOOM TO THE DRAGONFLIES. I chose Laban because, well...he would hate the fucking things and would gladly visit some DOOM on their pathetic wretched bodies in the form of...CHEWING.
BITE. OFF. THEIR. HEADS. Can't taunt you any more with no HEADS!!!
Of course, Spyro and Sparks seem pretty horrified. Whatever.
Laban sez: "SHUT UP, YOU'RE NEXT." XD

For some reason I remember the day (or rather, evening) I discovered lightning bugs.
So pretty, flitting around and glowing on and off...and then one landed on my arm and startled me so I smacked it without thinking.
And the streak of bug goo GLOWED NEON.
My mother was furious when I came home with a glowing striped shirt. ;) Apparently the stains never came out, LOL!!!!

I knoooow. It was so "dumbed down" from the previous ones, I swear.
I wish I could find my copy of Ripto's Rage so I could have a way to relax from this stupid dragonfly hunt! XD

Oh hell yes. I loathed that. I got so freaking bored having to go from the side of the worldmap that opens with lightning-breath to the side that opens with frost-breath...it was like five minutes to commute!!!
I like the original and "Ripto's Rage" the best. Of course those are the two games I own but right now

I suppose it's so very, very wrong of me to have cackled insanely at this for five whole minutes. Oh those damn dragonflies, especially that one that you have to jump the pedestals to reach in the Cloud 9 level, Savino. I've never come closer to destroying a controller in my entire life. Thank you so very much for mirroring my immense frustration.
Of all the dozens, upon DOZENS of dragonflies in the game...I KNOW THAT FUCKER'S NAME. I hated him so much. SO MUCH!!! D8< I swear that goddamn thing took me a whole afternoon to get, and that level? The cloudy one? Lost more "lives" in that thing than any other world, SERIOUSLY.
