But meanwhile, I had about 3 hours to spare, so I decided I'd write myself a song since I hadn't done any songwriting in a very long time. Another one of Jake's numbers, done with just keyboards and a LinnDrum harnessed from a Def Leppard mastertrack. I tried more of the atmospheric work with this one, breaking up the usual song formula and introducing some abstract stuff and things like that.
