Your coloring is so smooth ^^ And it's weird, looking at these Barbarian Liz pics, I want to say that I'm not used to seeing you use such an earthy palette (I know that's just what the designs called for). For some reason it really stands out. These images came out amazing :)
Looks like I have one particular favorite detail in each of these pics, doesn't it? Like I commented on the Ustream, I love the way the cloth folds look in this. I'm not even sure why, exactly. It just strikes me as very convincing. Not that the rest of her doesn't ... strike me... But, you know.
Great work. This stuff is perfect: pose (reflects confidence), facial expression (passive toughness mixed with comfortability with her sexiness), composition (most of the visuals are lower in the frame, and have a low height aspect, giving a weight to it), character design (placement in a prehistoric time period (she's a dino with low-tech clothing), able to be transposed to a later time period with no loss of competence (her "hair" is modern in style)), proportions (huge head without looking like a Sonic character due to the neck being slightly bigger than the head), clothing design (crosses over itself leading from one area to another, simple, easiliy assembled with natural materials), color scheme (the eyes and beads are the brighter elements, giving small accents to an overall low saturation scheme), lighting (mostly tonal, but also indicative of an ambient source), and conveyence of mass and density in a 3D space. I wonder if anyone will ever add a bg to the piece, but I don't think it is needed given the excellence of Liz in a solo portrait.
