I told you that back then and gotta exclaim it once more properly! : AH! I LOVE THIS TOTODILY MUCH, RIP! (~^.=.^~) 💜
It's such a cool and amazing artwork and such a happy oppurtunity to see my Totodile mascot Shiny with you playing about in such a fun WAM way! It's so happy and nice looking!
Goo and slime are such cool and fun stuffs to see in illustrations always and becomes so interestiong for how it's depicted. People always have their unique ways to thing up if the goopy stuff is either more fluid and splattering, oozes more like some thick paste and if there are additional attributes like it being like cakey mud and dough or if it's all sticky and rubbery.
Some people also give the stuff different textures from it being transculent like a gel with bubbles inside to some shiny oily stuff to the simply mucky paintery stuff. I'm having always such a joy in seeing how many neat unique aspects can be found in the matter, and it doesn't even yet touch on things like living gooey characters, Nickelodeon-esque comedic uses for slime or TFing effects and all that mixed into the motif conecpts. =D
What I always like in your arts is the expressive nature, the vibrant color choices and the blissful composition of what posing and scene depiction bring in for the impression of everybody involved. You always get that jolly notion of characters being into things with much enthusiasm and feeling really good. I might not have too much understanding of the more mature sides of it all but I think it's definitely a great sense of joy that I feel in vibes.
Your art and characters are all lots of fun and your ideas very fantastic and crazy in a good way. I love the wacky nature and the emmersiveness. In music terms I'd feel like "Caravan Palace" songs would mesh really well with it all. =3
To be more direct on this illustration in particular: I can't but smile brightly when seeing yet again how chipper you seem to introduce Shiny to that dungeon of goo there! If such is like an industrial facility or sewers with a certain type of gunk coming from pipes and the such, that just alone must be quite the great fun for them, I feel. It's also so nice in connection to how Shiny looks like thinking "Ah! Yes, more goo! Such a nice shower and bath!". ⭐️
You even thought of displaying enough of Shiny here to showcase some of his headphones and neckerchief. I appreciate that lots. Mkaes it on one side sweet to recognize him better in this overwhelming situation and it makes sense in regard how deep the stuff seemingly has filled that pit or tunnel or well already.
Overall the color composition here and the effects added to the scene are really captivating. So much purple! And with how the borders have taht lense flaring effect it makes it seem like if there is slime even so on the imaginary camera here. It's so overwhelmingly neat and like a magical adventure! Love it lots! =D
But you can also be assured, Shiny loves it probably the most. He's not mind getting dunked into the goopy stuff, welcome any Muk and Grimer that decides to pop out of it and give Rip lotsa hugs and twitch and wag his tail in sheer happiness. If there would be any silly things come from such sticky situations the lil Totodude would always face them with much optimism as he's such a happy-go-lucky boy when he has a great dude by his side or can find the so slightly chance to share the fun.
That said, I'm sure that no matter if his dudes have pranks and surprises in storage for Shiny or when he has the possibility of bringing his innocent and jolly surprises towards others, then each moment can become a great party for the lil guy. Whether he'd pop up as a plushie Totodude to give Chompy balloons or show taft how amusingly pink scaled he can look after a Pinkan berry diet, there is always something that makes Shiny like the kinda jolly fellow who will be eager to bring a smile on everybody's face. ^_^
I still feel moved to this day that you shared some of your time and talent to surprise me with and I hope that my public message here helps emphasizing that to me it's an absolute pleasure of a treasure, an awesometastic bond over creative content and still a way amazing art piece!
I will always keep on treating this as a great memorial of one of Shiny's muckiest and funnest days in my imagination, Rip! Hope you will keep on enjoying many more cool projects in the future yet. I'll always cheer from here for you alongside the happy Totodile that you gave such a fun experience. 💖
