Needed to get this idea out of my head.

Take a fantasy world kicking and screaming into the industrial and modern age, with widespread eradication of monsters at an industrial scale. The dragons have hidden away among us, or have left. The small races would still probably endure, through proliferation. Maybe our own modern world is a Mirror's Edge to them. They're the rats. They're the people that struggle to survive on our skyscrapers.

Maybe I'm just looking for a reason to draw a parkour kobold while earworming on Still Alive again because my brain is dumb.
