In this picture, guess what has happened. Has Laila finally gotten dibs on the big ugly dog Charlie Anna or has she just eaten too much curry or something like that? Since Charlie Anna, who was the villain, was fat and there was a fat female dog in one scene, I decided to do this!

Excellent review, hit on a lot of the things I noticed as well, and similarly a lot of the information I found in my research. You definitely listened to the director's commentary, so I assume you have the official DVD. Did you check out the re-subbed version I put out? I did what I could for not knowing Hindi, by listening to speech patterns and body language. Also added in lyrics. It was really fun, and I've seen the movie well over 40 times by now. :P
Lol yeah that's the normal subtitles sure, but they're horridly timed, have missing lines, replace blatant English words with toned down versions not even fitting the mood, and have other perversions to them that just don't work well. There's a torrent going around, ZoomXofSubs. You have the DVD itself, so it's 100% legal to d/l this re-subbed version, and you'll find that the thing has some really nice subbing to it.
