Sarracennia purpurea aka. purple pitcher plant
This is a carnivorous plant! I am just getting into the hobby of growing them. They're so awesome.
Yeah, I know, I should be posting photos of sewing stuff. :P I'll have some soon, hopefully. I just am SO incredibly burned out on sewing, and I've been having some crazy life issues of late.
Anyhow, enough excuses, admire the pretty plant! Or it will eat you! Well... not you. Maybe if you're a microfur it might. XD
On the off chance that anybody here is also into this hobby, I'll say that I'll trade loonakits, tails, ears, drawn art, or other small projects for healthy carnivorous plants. Especially ones that can survive with artificial lighting, as I have limited outdoor space.

They can survive just fine without any feeding, actually. If you want to feed them it's generally once a month or so. You can feed them weekly, any more often than that and you might feed more than they can digest, which leads to rotting leaves.
I've looked at getting into bonsai too. But man, I don't know if I have the patience! They're neat though.
