Yeah, alright... I got a thing for Atomic Betty. Not so much for the cartoon, which is in a way a tepid imitation of the Powerpuff Girls. But I like Betty. But what some minor animation studio can put on TV, I figure I can improve upon.
(The ray gun is a crystaloid beam that covers anything with a shell of impervious emerald-like glass. Her ponytail pins are antenna, of course, and she wears a matching ear piece. The other gizmo shines virtual images into her eye, so she can aim or read important information. A communicator/data interface bracelet completes her routine gear.)

Yeah... the show had such potential. I even like Maximus. But where the show falls down is the pair of side-kicks Betty was given -- a smarty pants robot and wacky chow hound. How astonishingly original! The second season, set mostly on Earth, isn't even as good as the first.
