So last summer 
theLeonard and I met 
Axikor in their town of Chicago on our way from Minneapolis to Megaplex in Orlando during one of our big epic summer road trips. Axikor happens to be a pilot who flies around for traffic reporting among other things, and invited us to come take a flight above the city in a small plane.
Well, it was fucking amazing. And Axikor is not only incredibly badass, but became a really close friend. Not only did we get to fly, but they even let ME fly it! All through the clouds, it was amazing!! Co-piloting of course, Axikor was there and ready the whole time lol. The bg you see here is an altered paint over of one of the photos they took with a go-pro on the plane's wing!

I actually tried to draw him happy in this picture. It didn't feel right XD So he's concerned, as per usual.
Anyway, this is a piece to commemorate it. It's an amazing memory I will always treasure, and a gift not many can give. Axikor, you let this dragon and dragon rider fly <3 We're gonna keep trying, but we'll never be able to thank you enough.

Hehe, you'd think Leonard would get the hang of it, but, well, after that vid, I suppose I can kind of understand his reticence from all the shenanigans he gets put through, fictional and irl. ;p It is a beautiful picture; the background you incorporated does translate that sensation of flying expertly.
