This is more the idea I had for the series I'm in the middle of now, a progression and evolution of peoples' fursonas blended with the styling history of cars and machines in general. But... drawing 4 or 5 pics across all these different cars would be uh...well... like animating to a music video. *ducks
XD* Also the results are in, I'm getting better at tabletting. It shows. I'm just getting so much better with all this practice I'm giving myself, though my forearm is always twitchy tired at the end. |3 *drools*
Holy carp I didn't know I could draw myself so badass, look how I'll be in 2010! ;D The '86 one was the toughest to do... didn't really feel anything special for it--no wonder, since there are no real cars or manufacturers that released anything in the '80s that I find interesting. Muscle cars of the sixties and seventies, check. '90s hot hatches and imports, check. Today's hypercars and futuristic styled rides, check. '80s... nearly all boxes, ugh.
I'm really enjoying this series and idea of concept drawing. After all, these are all concepts of Kurras made in the past 40 years, from powerful brawler legends to modern supreme pinnacles of design. And, I'm finding I'm capable of making honest concept art quickly and easily. That gives me biiig confidence in applying that capability to upcoming university and real-world workstuff. Not only that, this means I can do commissions easier and previews faster! And yay, fursona self-love. :v Now back to the other 10,000 projects to do... |V
