The first one was a bard. He seemed eager to help, luckily I sent him away before he could begin singing.
About an hour later, he returned, as a very soggy merfolk. I rolled my eyes as he handed me a soaked wad of paper. Unbelievably, my magically-enhanced waterproof ink had washed completely off the page. The bard began to spin a tale about drowning goblins in a boat, and asked when he might turn back to normal.
I nearly turned him into a frog when he asked for his reward, but he had the good sense to run away while I tried to restore the sketch from the soaked and wadded up mess.
