What?
Ghosts live inside the sword, ghosts of warriors who died for being foolishly reckless on the battlefield. Or maybe warriors who died in really stupid ways off the battlefield, like getting bags stuck over their heads and asphyxiating or something. Haven't really decided yet.
Anyway, whenever Lur defeats an apponant with the sword, the ghosts inside swell with pride. This causes the sword to grow larger. So the more opponents she defeats, the bigger and more powerful her sword becomes. But it also becomes heavier and more unwieldy. It's like the burden of guilt manifested or something blah blah blah.
She can only exorcise the ghosts temporarily by telling people really embarrassing facts about herself. I think.
