A retouched version of the original commission for Grand Wizard  Trazz

I realized that I was never going to be able to replicate the original version onto a computer so instead I just decided to go for something rather different overall. The digital version received a lot of bells and whistles to cover up the fact that I couldn't get it to scan right. I also decided to do all of the contrasting manually rather than with the simple slider-bars. Since the background was looking not great on-screen I started just haphazardly shading it to deluster it a bit and see if I stumbled upon something I'd like, and that's when I got the idea to just gird Trazz in the shadows. I sort of liked the effect and actually ended up retroactively applying a similar thing to the physical version, although that version of the effect is less conspicuous.

At any rate, hopefully this version is better, if imperfect. I'll likely apply minor edits over an undefined period of time, as is my way.
