After joining a dragon rp group on amino I decided to create a new character.

Meet Roo a very colorful yet quirky dragon who is not aware of what he really is.
When he was still an egg, his parent's nest was robbed by illegal pet traders, stealing away the rare exotic dragon eggs to profit high in the underground market. When these traders were stopped for inspection the egg was shoved in a nearby chicken cage, in which this particular chicken was loaded into a cart and taken back to the farm it called home.

Unloaded the yard bird accepted the egg as one of her own, not minding the slightly larger size. After Roo hatched he imprinted quickly on his foster mother and handful of small fuzzy siblings.

Unlike other dragons of Roo's species, he doesn't 'bark' but instead 'boks, clucks, and mimic other chicken sounds. On top of this he adopted the same behaviors, as for his chicken family they view this weird bird as one of their own.

This little guy is about the size of a peacock, as for his design it was strongly inspired by multiple bird species.
