Koalas are Retarded.

They may be scientifically proven halfwits, but I still love the cute little buggers. <3

Shake one thoroughly and hear its tiny brain slosh around in its half empty skull. I found the concept amusing since it is real, and strange.

Fact: "The koala has an unusually small brain. Koalas have the most de-evolved mental functions of any animal on the planet. They are famous for just sitting and eating, and sometimes making strange noises. Yet they are adorably cute despite being dumb. :D Prehistoric koalas had much larger brains that fit their skulls unlike the modern ones. Its closest relative, the wombat , is very intelligent and has a large brain. Go figure.

This koala girl is a prehistoric koala (Phascolarctos stirtoni), and a professor. She is quick to let people know she is not a modern day koala, but one of their larger, brainier ancestors, which looked almost identical. Any animal with 6 thumbs is cool regardless if it is biologically retarded.
