Suriya Kapur, the Malaysian Tapir

Suriya loves books and the smell of old libaries and one day hopes to beome a librarian.

She was raised by elephant parents, her father was an explorer who found her abandoned as a yound child age 2 and took her back to his home in India where his wife named the girl Suriya.

As she grew up her father hid her from the world more and more rarely permitting her to leave. She spent most of her time hiding away in the libary reading. When she was 14 her father disapeared while on an exploration and never returned. Her mother became depressed and withdrawn and Suriya began reading even more. She hopes one day to find a Prince Charming or Mister Darcy of her own but for now feels she is doing quite well on her own without a man.

Her back is covered in gold glittery paint which she uses to paint her face and body as she feels like it, the marking she paint on her face can be washed off but the reservoir on her back seems to have a limitless supply. Her claws are solid gold and grow very very slowly, this may be the reason her father hid her away.
