skulldog patreon reward for November!I had an idea for some more mershark Garrus and I decided on having him escaping a net simply by flowing through it. I'm sure a few times people have attempted to catch him this way without knowing exactly what his body is capable of.
Also helping to perpetuate the myth of the mermaid in worlds where they don't actually exist in either sense of a native woman's top half or as the actual type of creature anyway. At least until he gets off world and away from the shocked locals.

Well, of course, I love mersharks and all, but this pic also has the goo power on display, oozing through / around the net. That was what really tipped it over into OMG territory for me. <3

Ah yes, but a recently TFed land dweller would at least understand what was happening. With a 'feral' mermaid, for instance, there's an element of them being totally out of their element, not understanding how they can be so trapped and bound, when all they have known is the complete freedom of the underwater world.
Although I suppose for the observer it would be about the same experience, seeing this supposedly impossible creature squirming around in the net.
