And from the hallowed halls came the rumbling.
For sleeping within was a fiend long ago trapped.
Beneath the surface of the tower and the earth alike.
Bound in chains of eldritch nature.
A seal to drain its power.
None thought it would escape.
All were wrong.
X3 This is AWESEOM!

In the gelid mountains north,
Beneath glacial ice, back and forth,
Lies a web of frigid caves,
Filled with many draconic graves.
With no care to understand
The people would together band
And seek the beasts of the air,
Capture and imprison them there.
Leave them there to starve and rot:
Punishment for what? They knew not.
Generations had done so,
'Til bones were scattered to and fro.
The folk one day upped their count
When a wyvern fell from the mount
Into their trap that they'd set,
Locked away for them to forget.
How strong it was; that they saw,
So to try and settle the score
Its heart was stabbed; but no blood
Flowed out in their expected flood:
Instead it was their worst dream.
With snarling breath and eyes a-gleam:
See the azure wyvern rise
And burst the chains of his demise.
Revenge came;
none were left.
