A new character sparked by a series of pics we saw on twitter by a fellow named zorofab Seriously, go look, they're amazing! Anyway, meet Mala! An Alolan native, she was formerly human, but one fine day, she, and many of her fellow island residents, found bottles of Miltank Magi-Milk set upon their doorsteps, as though a milkman had just stopped by and dropped them off. Despite the oddness of this, she (and many of said neighbors), shrugged, and took the milk to drink! Why turn down free milk, especially when it turned out to taste so mellow, yet rich! Up until she finished drinking, and found herself shrunk down and widened out into -being- a Miltank!

She and her fellow new bovines, however, did not find much alarm in this; after all, they were still themselves, essentially! Even if the form had changed, the person hadn't! So, upon finding most of the island was in similar condition, they collectively shrugged and went with it, carrying on as normal. Well, barring the need for a lot of shredded clothes to be repaired, new interior designs to accommodate how hard it's become to reach the countertops and cupboards, and the occasional need to be milked.

Anyway! Mala here is a loveable, sociable sort, though very quick to get a bit flustered, especially if she feels she owes apologies. She makes her living running a small corner mart not too far from town, basically just there to sell concessions and the like to travelers; it's a cozy little place, and she's always eager to help any customers, chit-chatting as she goes! Surprisingly, many will note that she has a considerably Minnesotan accent and speech pattern. Very "Oh, don't'cha know, always havin' a laugh, yah?" No one's quite certain why.

A side note to this bizarre setting, while no one knows where the milk came from, or how it does what it does, they HAVE found that their own milk carries a similar effect. IE someone drinks a bottle's worth milked from one of these new Alolan residents, they'll end up likewise. However, the effect IS diluted considerably when the milk is used in baking or any sort of cooking. While one can still turn from overconsumption of such products, it takes a far more, relatively, for the process to occur. Hence, the newly Bovinized Alolan Islands can sell their produce via any cooking or baking that requires dairy! The products still have very bright, eye-catching warnings about how the serving portions for treats made with such are NOT suggestions if one wishes to keep their human form.

(Also before you ask, no, I don't have the game; I just saw those pics and that line of text, and fell in love with the idea)
