I live in the US.... and I live in an area where it gets into the single digits in winter, with snow on the ground, and triple digits in the summer, with the threat of overheating electronics an every day fear... that and sticky legs... oh god so sticky...

I work outside as a mover in in weather down to the twenties... just this weak in shorts and a hoodie... lol Went down to florida last week and was sweating at 70...

If people from the south are lizard people, then I must be a polar bear from the north. I see people all around me that are bundling up and it's like... 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm like, "Guys. It's not even below freezing outside. You'll be fine with a jacket, not a parka."

This is so true. I feel the same way, it makes me laugh seeing people whine about the degrees being bellow 60°F. That's nothing until you've at least been in -21°F for hours on end.

It really sucks when you have one of these people have control over the thermostat. I work in an office, and I swear it's like... 75-80 degrees at all times. -.-

I also used to work out in the snow on a farm. People who were able to hang out inside for most of their shift looked at me like I was insane as I plodded along in my cover-alls for 4 hours at a time in the dead of winter in Northern Ohio.

Yeah, only real downside of getting so used to the cold is having to deal with the heat later on. At the least I prefer it to be 70 degrees. Kinda sucks since I live with people that prefer to have it hot all the time. Grandparent's place is a hell's kitchen now-a-days.

So in some ways I envy those who can withstand such high temperatures, but not when I'm in my comfortable stable temperature.
