For once, I threw together something of my own concoction.

2 lbs. Of ground beef
1/2 square chopped onion
2 stalks of chopped celery
Rubbing of your choice
1/2 tsp of Garlic salt
A can of black beans
1 tsp of paprika
And a nice big spoonful of "sofrito",
a Puerto Rican base.
1. Place small amount of oil into your pot.
2. Mix the spices with the beef.
3. Sauté the onions and celery in the pot
until the onions change color in low to medium heat.
4. Add sofrito to the pot followed by the beef and beans.
5. Pour approximately 3/4 cup of water and stir gradually.
At this point, I reduced it for 30 mins. bexause of time constraint, but I believe it'd be best to give it from 45 mins. to about an hour for the best thickness. Enjoy!

Nice. My only issue was working out what Sofrito was. Never heard of it before.
Sofrito or soffritto (Italian), or refogado is a sauce used as a base in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Latin American cooking.
I did find a recipe for it though so just in the event I'm not the only one who doesn't know what Sofrito is I added it here. *hugs*

2 green capsicums, seeded and chopped
1 red capsicums, seeded and chopped
2 green chillies, seeded and chopped
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
4 onions, cut into large chunks
3 medium heads garlic, peeled
1 bunch fresh coriander
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Process so that all ingredients are chopped fine but not puréed. Use immediately in your favourite soup or stew, or freeze in resealable plastic freezer bags or containers.
