The abyss. Foreboding yet welcoming. Its cold depths giving respite to the creatures that call it home from the burning light that is not only offensive to the body but the eyes. It washes over you like water giving comfort and breathing life back into a tired body that has been gone from it for to long. But at times it is also heavy and oppressive. At times you feel like you are drowning in the darkness, suffocated by it.
