yes those wings are gorgeous. I love how you show the fingers of the wings through the fleshy bits. Even the colors for the character are gorgeous, you did a wonderful job at blending them together,
The theme is what really gets my attention, a big guy like him looking down at a pool of water, even his little mustach, entenas, are floating on the surface XD.
I would suggest for next time you try a water scene like this, take the scene in photoshop and make it where the image reflects on the waters surface, the water feels to plain withouth some reflection to it.
