Talita the centaur was raised entirely around humans since she was an infant and picked up human body language. A lot of time it looks like she’s a bad actor pretending to behave like a human, but all her reactions are actually genuine.

In this comic Talita was being too friendly and gestural, which the other centaur interpreted as terrible flirting. To express distress about this she lies on the floor, covers her face and wails, which is an odd imitation of crying. Gillie cannot hear the wails but attempts to comfort her anyways.
