Almost done inking a big commission got me into the mood to paint, plus I haven't painted in so long I'm a little paranoid of ruining a big project, so I did this. The colors feel a bit duller than my older work, so I'll see if I can fix that before it becomes somewhat of a habit.

it appears that you've let yourself slip into the lighter colors because your background or environment is out side. I know i have that a lot myself. What i tend to do it kind of still use dark colors but don't venture that much into the lights with round or blob objects :P

oy. pink blobs are normally not found outside of dungeons where they scrap up what the goblins have leftover, and sweep the dungeon clean. never seen one with a lipstick'ed mouth, too. ^^ then again, I normally flee them, unless we have a gallon of lamp oil to oxidize them to gravel. :P
