May I suggest investing in a Mac? they are designed for arts type work and they are rock solid. Hers is the web address. apple.com. I myself purchased a mac mini last summer when my 9 year old home built computer running windows crapped out for the last time. I grew tired of all the problems associated with all things microsoft.

Yeah, I'd thought about gettin a Mac, however the problem with that would be that it won't run over half of the programs I currently own. What's the use in having things you cannot run, after shelling so much money out for them.

Howdy big woof, not actually that much of a problem really, you can run a duel system now on one machine using a program called boot camp. It is best if you run duel drives for it. You can switch between microsoft op system and the mac system. You still will need antivirious stuff for the microsoft side but if for some reason it craps out you can still run the Mac side. Also if you use microsoft office you can get the whole suite for the mac as well. I will give you the name of a gentleman at our local Mac pac store and his i800m number. The gentelmans name is Thomas Kostes. His email is thomas@macpac.com. The number is 1-800-460-8080. He got me all set up with my computer. All the people at the store are friendly and easy to work with. They could tell you what would work best for you based on your needs. Hope this helps you. You and your have a great one.
