Throughout 2016, I'd been acquiring 'collector's tickets' to various Disney feature films (including "Zootopia", "The Jungle Book", "Finding Dory", and "Pete's Dragon") - at the same cinema, the Regal Sawgrass 23 Theater in Sunrise, Florida. The other day, I'd added one more ticket to my collection...
This time, said ticket was for the 3-D screening of "Moana" (the second CGI animated released by Disney in the same year), which I got to see one day before its official American debut. The one good thing about the illustration on the ticket is that the faces of all of the characters can be seen (unlike the tickets for the aforementioned other titles, in which its characters were all facing away)!
As for the film itself, it was quite entertaining (between the colorful imagery [with or without 3-D glasses], the cast of characters [and the respective vocal talents for each one], and the musical numbers). I won't give away anything regarding the plot (or the plot twists), but I can tell you to stick around during the closing credits, as there will be two 'in-jokes' regarding a pair of other Disney animated features, which you don't want to miss...
'Moana', 'Maui', 'Pua', and 'Heihei' (C) Disney Animation
