Thank. Its a hard pose to force a semi anthro character to use. I stretch the arms and legs a bit to make it more natural looking. This same character standing is usually drawn with shorter more animal-like legs. The other picture is even more difficult if not impossible to make a semi anthro character conform to. so I used human style legs and feet. I began to like things more once I allowed myself to skew the characters a bit to have them ride bikes, skateboards, sit in chairs ect,
If you want to see some nicely done semi anthro characters shifting from a slightly more to a slightly less human stance, check out "Hugo The Movie star" dvd. the story line is geared for young veiwers, orcourse, but the lead character and his foxy GF are well animated, esp when riding a skateboard.
