'Wargreymon - The Offering' Original Sketches
OH, WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE TREES?!
Lol!
A lot of paper. Most of it wasted. This is most - not all, but most - of the sketches I ended up doing in the process of creating my 4-page comic 'Wargreymon - The Offering'. 17 sheets are visible here, and there were a few more too that got scrapped at earlier stages. I kept them because they serve as an interesting record of the development, though I will be getting rid of them now it is done.
Just a few things to note - the pictures are arranged in rows for each page of the comic, going chronologically from left to right. The ones marked in blue are those that I actually scanned. You can probably see from the top right that Mike - and indeed the big stone tablet in the foreground of panel one - were both added to Page 1 separately. Secondly, you can probably also see that the poses and angles did not stay the same throughout - Page 1 saw a variety of poses attempted before the final one was settled upon, while Page 2 saw me originally try a slightly different angle before settling on the conventional POV.
SEE MY FAILURES IN ALL THEIR GLORY!!! Lol!
Thought they might interest some of you anyway. And yes, I do have a crappy 1970s shagpile carpet in my bedroom. I reckon there's still some Lego bricks hidden around in its blades somewhere from my childhood...
Lol!!

Thanks, Zilla. I was trying out a few things with the first and second ones. The second page was a bastard though; took far too long to get right.
And this carpet is nice to walk on barefoot... provided you don't find something inside it. Then it hurts. The number of times I've trodden on lego bricks, pins, sharp pencil shavings, sharp potato crisp fragments and such, all hidden inside this fluffy floor...

Oops - that was a reply to you: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/217...../#cid:15839820
My gosh, I think you did a wonderful job. I believe you said it correctly with the idea of interpretation because you never really get a full picture of those characters that are wearing clothing/armor/adornments. I've done a painting on him in grade school and had changed the curves and angles on some of the pieces- mostly to fit with my style. Meh, I like your representation
