as dumb as this may sound...
Mice tend to have rounder ears with shorter muzzles and tend to the rounder body type... myself being an exception. :D
Rats tend to have an ever so slight point to the ears, longer muzzles, tad thinner as well. And thier builds are longer sleeker.... :D
