sent me three of them that he caught in Florida last Summer/Fall, I believe it was. They're easy to keep, though sometimes a little bit stupid. :P They eat goldfish, but seem to not be able to see at ALL, so I have to practically hand-feed them before they attack the fish. Their bite can be EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL, however, so I wouldn't recommend handling if you ever do find some!

ack not american.. but yunno what I mean.. the little ones with the hard shells that combine their legs to swim so it looks like two little flippers.. Genus and species escape me at the moment perhaps I'll find you a picture ^_^;; Their backs are brownish and their underbellies are white. They also have huge compound eyes.
