This lovely 3 inch american mink skull has been cleaned and processed by me from a naturally deceased specimen.
After cleaning I brought the skull back to life by sculpting a set of spiraled horns (and a cute wee horn on the muzzle!) and hand-painting it striking blend of intense glossy black and real 18k gold liquid leaf. The gold completely coats the underside of the skull and shifts into black in the most beautiful way, and I hand-detailed a simple, elegant design in more liquid gold across the top and snout of the skull.
One canine fang has been removed and replaced with a polished spear of real labradorite. The gemstone's color adds a complimentary contrast to the inky black and shimmery gold.
The polymer clay 'dragon horns' are each accented with a tiny, delicate ring of 14k gold EP. Those horns are hand sculpted and have a gentle spiraling curl to them.
The skull hangs on a 22 inch adjustable gold-toned chain with lobster clasp. The chain runs through a bronze link that is drilled into the back of the skull - no glue here!
*Upgrades! Have the chain replaced with a shiny new 14k gold EP weave-style chain to put this pendant over the top in elegance! The gold chain has a spring clasp and is brand new. This upgrade is an additional $12.
FREE optional upgrade: For no additional charge I will give the skull 'black tears' in the form of small, trimmed dew-drop shaped european Starling feathers. (These are legal feathers!)
