An actor gets upset when he discovers an alteration to one of his scenes.

And here, if you look close enough, you can see some of my self-destructive tendencies peeking from between the lines. At least I don't have enough of a following to worry about this making any too-big waves.

I like the imagery in this one: it get's the job done but it's never too much as to overwhelm the reader. I also think you do a good job displaying two different sides of an argument, as I feel like it's possible for readers to fall on two different sides of the argument. To be honest, I think I actually fall on Jason's side of the argument, as I feel like it was a bit of a dick move for Carson to try and ruin Jason's play. But I dunno, maybe that's just me.
Again, nice writing by the way, it was really well done. I need to get back into writing; I tried the other day and read over and it was just garbage. With a bit of practice I'm sure I can get back to this level though ;)

In principle, I'd join you in siding with Jason. Tap-dancing through legal jargon is a low blow. In this scenario, I don't have much sympathy for him because he's a stuck-up snob. (Actually watched this situation a few days ago. A "co-worker" got chewed out for something retarded, but I hate the guy so the 'why' didn't matter.)
And for the record, Carson was just some guy caught in the middle. I never really decided/figured out what his role (in that world) actually was.

I'm not very familiar with actors, but it's a common enough human tendency. And more exceptional a person is, the more slack people cut him because they want that talent. So you end up with an adult who acts like a 5-year-old because that's what he's learned that he can get away with it.
