Yet another "Feel Good" pic done by my good friend, Boom. This time, Minty from "A Very Minty Christmas" is having some adorable times sharing her love for socks with Yosh.
This is yet another image I cannot physically see... yet. However, I know Boom does amazing work that has even been noted by the voice actors from My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic. Her prices are great and you can really help her and her love out by commissioning her through the original link of https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21694265/.

Then it is a great pleasure to meet you. I, too, grew up with G1. It is actually one of the first cartoons I remember really liking when I was a kid. When I was asked to try G4, I was heistant. However, I loved it and have explored G2 and G3 along with more G1 to connect-the-dots.
It's super great meeting someone who can appreciate all the generations of Pony. There'd be no "Friendship is Magic" without all that came before it. :)

<LoL!> I can understand where you are coming from there. The "Brony Fandom" has had its definite share of ups-and-downs.
Something positive I was able to do through it was advocate for individuals with special needs, like myself. For three years, I lead a panel known as "Coping with Disabilities Through Pony" / "Coping with Limitations Through Pony" at BronyCon. It's been, outside of FA, been my strongest way to help improve acceptance of self and others in a world that is largely ignorant to what someone with a special need can and cannot do.

What has been your overall experience with those who call themselves "Bronies"?
Personally, I've thought of the group as more of a sub-set of Furries. Though, I've heard a lot of Bronies do not ever wish to affiliate themselves with Furries.
I joined FA in a search to find acceptance for who I was. The title has never mattered as much as the friendships I've made.

The second part is true, they do not consider themselves furries, because they think the furry fandom is a bad fandom and associated with a lot of internet ills, when in fact they managed to become even worse fandom than the furry fandom in 1/5th of the time.
I like some of the artwork, but yes, the distance between the furry fandom and the brony fandom happened for a good reason, I don't like their fandom and I would not associate with it.

I completely understand. The ones who tend to attain "Horse Fame" are often not your friendliest. There also seems to be a lot of unfriendly Bronies online. :(
I attended BronyCon four times. The people who run it are exceptional in ensuring everyone who attends feels welcome while keeping everything as family friendly as possible. For me, the times I attended BronyCon are the few times I've felt not judged for being blind.
It is for the former, though, that I'm glad I could advocate for those of us with special needs through Pony. I have never been recognized by the Brony fandom. I've also never been recognized in the Furry fandom. However, I'm glad to pop in at both to try to make a positive difference through the arts.
It's a pity fandoms can become awful as a result of some folks going way too far in negative directions. I have been insulted by Bronies, but never furries. This says a lot as I've been on FA actively for 8 years. :)

I'm not familiar with Shadey. Could you describe her to me?
With G3, I liked Star Catcher, Minty, and Sky Wishes. However, there were a lot of adorable characters in G3.
As for socks, I remember using them as gloves when I had to help with firewood in my younger years. Couldn't find gloves? Grab a pair of socks! <LoL!>

She could have been G2, or even G1?
I liked G1 for just how many ponies there were. It gave a youngster a near endless choice of characters to make stories up for while, in some cases, finding ones they felt matched their personalities.
I wish I could watch more of G1. They did have some great stories that involved different characters. Some might argue the plots were too simple, but those are what keep the attention of kids enough to get their imaginations going.
One person's view on being a marketing campaign is another's inspiration. :)
