Here is the second in my series of full-colored illustrated 'fat furry limericks' for the (proposed) webcomic "Extraordinarily Fat Furries" (in celebration of "National Poetry Month").
This time, I've chosen a specific 'fat furry' character from both the "Fat Furs Mailing List" and "Fur Affinity": Shaun the (Fat) Sheepdog - who I've had the opportunity of chatting (and role-playing) with on Instant Messenger in the past. The last time I'd visited his "FA" site, the corpulent canine weighed in at over 11,000 pounds; so, my limerick is more appropriate now than ever before!
Of course, I'm taking certain liberties with both my poetic license and artistic talents. For example, in the poem I'd mentioned Shaun's intended weight in terms of pounds; but since he is from England, weight there is usually measured in metric grams. Still, I think both poundage and tonnage for my rhyme works out quite well. As for the art itself, I was getting tired of using the obligatory sound effects from the gut (e.g. "splash", "slosh", "gurgle", etc.), and made up a few new noises in the style of (MAD Magazine's) Don Martin. Furthermore, I didn't want to clutter this comic panel with too many images, so I decided to omit the stack of empty pizza boxes. Shaun is fat enough as it is, so the one slice he has in his paw should give you an inkling as to what he has been consuming all this time (along with the brew).
Watch for another one of my 'fat furry limericks' later this month...

Shaun's lookikng great! And the poety is a fun touch.
That bib looks like something wuffy ought to have handy for Vargr's play sessions (though wuff tends to end up with the latter part of the statement, probably a bit more frequently than the former *snickers*)
