A taxidermized tiger from the Smithsonian. When I was a kid he was located at ground level, in the resturant, but I guess too many sticky fingers touched him, so now he's safely ten feet in the air. Photographing him from below makes him look like a hellfire & brimstone baptist preacher.

for a taxirdermy that was from when you were a kid he looks remarkably well kept, especially if he was in an area that was accesable to touching before.

I have to admit, I couldn't resist the urge to pet him and touch his teeth - I'll hang my head in shame. But yeah, he does look remarkably good. A lot of the newer mounts really have a lot of expression and character, too. I'm bringing my sketchbook next time I go.
