Sibeor and I grew up with dog and have had 4 puppies since we got married. For one of our puppies it was 3 months after we picked her up that we finally agreed on a name. We've had Echo, Mindy, Chase, Sara, Bud, Bonnie, Keiko, Misty, Koda, and Deke.
my family also has had Max, Hunter, Lacy, Cody, Cindy, Ginger, Dodger, another misty, Thor, shadow, and about a dozen others I can't remember the names of. Oh and mountain lion named Garfield. I forget the squirrels name.
Since Sibeor and I show dogs we tend to pick a theme or topic.
Koda's is "mama don't take my Kodacrome" call name Koda. (he use to howl along when Sibeor sang that song)
Deke's is "reaching for the heavens" call name Deke (this has to do with astronaut Deke Slayton)
Misty was "morning mist" call name Misty ( first thing she did when she got home was pee everywhere in the house)

they hunted a lot and kept the meat in the freezer for non hunting seasons. As for behaving......he wrestled and seemed fine with my dad and his parents but crushed a dogs nose when the dog was barking too close to the fence . Then... they saw Garfield try stalking me as I was playing in the yard and decided that they could not keep him as a pet anymore.
My aussies name is Abby Rose (girl name obviously :p). If I were to get a male aussie, my go-to names would be Chester, Jasper, Kipper (my cousins aussies name), Oli (Oliver), or Atlas.
