Disagreement

Here's the finished artwork!
Yeah... it happens that Reptile and Kyle have a difference of opinion or even an argument.
This is life. They have to deal with it peacefully!
:D
I wanted to show you once again how tall and huge a Reptilian is compared to a human. Yes, Kyle is quite a tall human... but Reptile is "a monster" compared to him.
Also, I like to play with various types of armor and this time Reptile looks a bit like "He-Man" with the furry loincloth/pants.
XD
Furthermore, Kyle got typical "western armor style" again... less "Asian" this time.
As you can see I just like to play with characters, expressions, designs, armor, poses and body proportions... that's the reason for this artwork.
Drawing media:
Pencils, pen, ink, markers, COPICS, acrylics and brush (again, NO DIGITAL media has been used here!)
Working time:
Roughly 10 hours
Size:
A4 (20x30 cm)

Well this is a bit different from what you usually show, a small scene where this time your characters seems to have negative topic, you can feel te tension between these two after discussing whatever they´re talking about.
From my perspective I can tell that Reptile shows more the piss off expression with his eyes, mouth, and arms. All firm and straight of what he thinks right now, it has a bit of the agressive (smooth) look. While Kyle shows a bit less but probably because he wants to keep his posture and to control himself so they don´t provoke some kind of a fight.
Heheh never though I would see Reptile wearing a furry loincloth, kinda more like a barbarian style now.
Man watcing your traditional style always keeps me amazed with it ^ ^ I really love it man! : D
Yes, you're right... Kyle has to show posture and a calm stance... after all, what can HE do against such a huge beast?! ^^"
So, he has to be stoic and powerful.
Yeah, barbarian style... you got it. :D
THANKS a lot for the comment, my friend!
Glad you like it.
I do man. Thank you.
He's the King of Aktes, though...
Freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. Danke sehr!
I certainly wouldn't want to cross him.
That is as epic as the other WIP of it Cynrik, just amazing art!~
As a matter of fact my mom loves the line art version more.
xd
Thanks so much for the comment. It's really appreciated!
You are one of a few of the only artists I know that has so easily grasped the skill of being talented at both digital and traditional content while still maintaining crisp craftsmanship...and absurdly fast working speed...(only a mere 10 hours...WHAAA!!??) It's like you know exactly what you want to do, planning and execution, right off the back. Pen, pencil, airbrush and copics, etc...barely know anyone who uses ALL of those together at the same time. THAT is pure talent!
Your characters' faces/images are consistent every time, they are recognizable, they have strong emotion, and they fit together every time. The anatomy, with or without references, is always wonderful, colors and shading are super clean and refined. Outfit/costume designs are creative and fitting too.
And lastly, I also love how you put so much care into cleanliness of the final product. No smudges, sketch lines or bad inking.
BTW, you write the best critique responses. Whenever I see your critiques on other's pictures, I know it's gonna be critical, in-depth and detailed. I enjoy reading them.
I really wish I could do scales as well as you do. I'm always impressed. Can't wait for you to reach 5000 watchers.
THANKS SO MUCH for the large comment and all these kind words!! ^____^
That's highly appreciated.
I don't really know what to reply... but THANKS! XD It was a pleasure reading this and that's the reason why I am DOING the stuff I do. Well, of course I do it for myself, as well... but it IS really great that other people love what I do, too.
Yeah... THANKS again!
Ok, but not any artwork... it will be - as usual - a very suggestive, teasing scene... BUT with one exception: It will be the first artwork with an... alternate version!!!
XD
Meaning... the "normal" piece will show a Reptile in spandex shorts... and the alternate version... well... he will be a bit excited/aroused there... with something peeking out!
XD
I'm lucky I know where the alternative version will be, hehe.
Not that that would be a very good idea for either resolving the issue or his back.
Great job as always, especially your ability to hatch and create textured surfaces.
I'm glad you like it!
Reptile must scare people when he's in town
But sure, they disagree every now and then.
