Rox's are an intelligent quadruped feline species that live in the tree tops, they often live in small villages/tribes of 30-50 peoples. Their houses are usually made of branches and foliage, often in spherical shape, all linked with large branches, vines or built bridges.

Species Characteristics:
⦁ Large ears with tufts at the end
⦁ A long fur mane around their neck that goes down their back and stomach and sometimes the head.
⦁ Slightly longer toes and an opposable dew claw (or thumb) to help grasp
⦁ Strong prehensible tail, to grasp things or to hang from branches

Life:
There are a few roles in a tribe of Rox's, these are purely chosen by cubs at a coming of age ceremony, beforehand they help out in each field a little each day for a few years that will give them the experience to choose their occupation for the tribe.

~Chief
⦁ The chief watches over the village and makes sure they stay safe from danger. They usually have one other job that they did before becoming chief that they help out with.

⦁Harvester
Go out and harvest nuts and fruit to bring home to the tribe, they also cook and tend crops and livestock.

⦁Scouts/Warriors
Go out every day to check the land for any dangers or new events in the forest. On days of no conflict they will often adventure further in the forest to chart their maps for food and water sources as well as other civilizations. Some trips will last from days to months depending on the reason.

⦁Shaman
There is usually only one or two shamans per tribe. They have advanced knowledge in medicine and some magic and use it to heal or guide the tribe. They also keep track of the history of the clan and the forest, teaching it to all the cubs. They also have an unusually longer lifespan.

Trivia!
⦁ Cubs before their ceremony are not allowed on the forest floor, it is very rare that any Rox will venture down there unless they are a Scout
⦁ There is a large variety of birds in the forest and they are often kept as pets.
