RJ (Over the Hedge) Rule 63 Drawing
I was quite bored today and realised I haven't touched my drawing pad in a while, so I gave it a shot and tried some new techniques. This time, I actually drew the sketch of the body before drawing the proper thing instead of just going into it. It actually helped me quite a lot, especially with trying to give the body a more toony style.. I also tried drawing the head AFTER the body so it seems to fit the body better. I even tried to add a bit of shading. I also decided to just colour it in black and white rather than actually give it colour. This is because my skill with the drawing pad is very minimal and I can only do basic doodles like this for now, so there's no way I'd be good at colouring at this point. Strangely, it looked quite.. ugly when I gave it actual colour. The monochrome colouring suits the sketchy style, in my opinion.
And of course, out of all things, I drew female RJ, because I love her. I remember a few people saying Clover was my waifu. Well, that's not true, but she is close. I never thought that femRJ, a literally genderswapped character, would become my waifu. Eh, the beauty of the furry fandom, I suppose.
