Twinkling lights all around.
Friends and family gathered all inside.
The Christmas party has been a hit, Kitty is relieved that there has been enough food and chatter for everyone. Deciding to step outside to catch some air, away from the almost suffocating warmth, between the people and the fireplace. Grabbing her jacket she opens the back door and walks out on the fresh powdered porch from the freshly fallen snow. Looking up at the full shining, her warm breath was easily seen as she calmly breathes in the relaxing cold air.
Her colorful ears twitch as she hears the creaking of the back door open. Figuring it was someone coming out to rush her, she turns only to be greeted by a tall and handsome wallaby. A soft blush touches her cheeks underneath her purple fur. She had talked to the wallaby a few times from friends introducing them, he seemed like an all around nice guy. A smile was easily seen on his face as he walked toward her with his arms behind his back "Whatcha doin out here, Sheila?" He asked her curiously. Kitty shrugged as she smiled "Just needed some air, it was getting pretty warm and cramped. And its so peaceful out here." She told him.
The wallaby, named Jango, smiled with a nod turning his attention briefly to look up at the same moon that she was. "Yea, can't argue with you there. However there is something that's missing out here, that's inside." He replies slowly turning his attention back to the purple stripped feline. Kitty looked back at him with a puzzlingly look on her face, trying to figure out what he could possibly be talking about. "What's that, Jango?" She asked curiously. A sly expression came across his face, moving his hand from behind his back holding up a string with two leaves and three berries, commonly known as mistletoe. Quickly placing it over her head he leaned down kissing the purple feline on her cheek, her only reaction being that her cheeks lighting up red. As quickly as it had started, it had ended, leaving her speechless. With a soft chuckle at her dazed expression, Jango tipped his hat with a wink "See you inside." He tells her as he turns walking back inside.
