A long long time ago, in a corner of my gallery far far away, there is a drawing I did for a very good friend. It was my first request I ever made, for my first ever online friend. ^ω^ It was absolutely awful and I knew it. =8P But now I'm older, smarter, stronger, and arguably wiser, and I do like to think I've improved a little bit at least. This dear friend is none other than the ever epic
ezdbud, who has paid me to redraw something I drew for free when we were just kids. =P Which felt odd to redraw a request for muns, so I did it half price. x3 This time around, I realized that Chip was a wee lil' guy, and just like the first time around, I still drew him too big. XD Meant to do a perspective there, but... Let's just pretend he's eaten a few too many chocolates, and maybe Bark has had not quite enough lately. X3
So here we have the two cuties grappled down by a somewhat sentient plant spirit with a tickle fetish. In this large meadow otherwise devoid of large plants, a patron of the plant spirit has planted a tree for the spirit to use as a home, and planted a few useful plants around it, including the rare Rofflesia flower, which is coated in countless tickly hairs on it's tongue-like petals and a sap that's both lubricating, and yet kinda thick to stiffen the wicked little hairs. In addition, there's a Cackletail and a Duster Lily around to tease smaller feet that come to rest beneath the plant spirit's tree. Furthermore, the tree's root system is quite elaborate as well, able to sprout and entertain guests a good fifty feet away from the trunk of the tree. The nubby-fruited vines and soft rubbery roots act as the spirits hands and fingers. This spirit is regarded more as one to be respected and revered, rather than a nuisance, but residents of nearby villages are discouraged from visiting unless they can take the spirit's hospitality. Bark and Chip were not residents of those villages. =P Luckily this spirit is not malicious, but quite benevolent. It just loves to make its guests smile and laugh. A lot. Pity the mute one refuses to let his sputters and quiet giggles out, cuz they're not leaving until the spirit hears hees and haws.
I'd been long meaning to redo some of my oldest drawings, but haven't gotten around to it until now, and only because I was paid to. <XD Please, feel free to look at the original for comparison.

That's some vintage Sodie-Pawp right there. =P And of course, if you know off the top of yer head any old old drawings of mine you'd like to see remastered, please lemme know in the comments below, and maybe one day I'll have it at the top of my list when I get around to remastering some art.
