There's a fantastic web comic series, Skin Deep, made by Kory Bing, that I've followed for nigh a decade now at this point, always fancied putting together a character based on myself that'd fit in that world. Wound up commissioning Kory for just that recently, and forgive the expression, knocked out two birds with one stone in that he'll also apply as a more general furry character/fursona of sorts. :D
In the context of the Skin Deep world, he's a Totem Animal, a spirit of sorts connected to a specific species of animal, in this case a Great Blue Heron. ( I have a real penchant for more animalistic anthros~)
Might draw in a background myself at some point, just to get rid of the sea of white, haha
