An old, old pic I rcently rescanned. Originally done in 1999 or 2000 or so, with drafting pens and a whole lot of stippling and patience, I actually forgot when this was made exactly. >_<
The character is Ciencia, a psychic Dreamwalker who can enter other peoples' sleeping minds. she was the heroine of a novelette I wrote in the 90, and even came in second in a small-press novelette contest (won me $50! Woot!) I may post the story here if people ask for it, but I also turned it into a full-fledged novel, which is in the rewrite phase. if I can ever find time to rewrite it, that is...

Thank you. I remember at the time I did this taking a cue from the master of weird otherworldly landscapes, Steve Ditko circa the 1960s, when he did the early, trippy Dr. Strange comics. In fact, you can even see a bit of a Ditko-like 'dimension' outside the bedroom window there.
