Yep! With unbirth, it's less stress in a way, because once they leave, I'm good to go, but pregnancy sneaks up on you. They're so small and cute as little baby bumps, but There's something kinda fun that first morning you wake up and realize you're just simply too big to function normally anymore, where you can hardly breathe for how big your womb is, and your belly aches from the strain on it.
True! UB is pretty much on/off for your uterus and more controllable, but with pregnancy you'll eventually be carrying this huge and heavy womb with plenty of kicking within while knowing it'll still be 2-3 months before relief - although I do like the idea of testing my luck with each impregnation by not knowing how it'll turn out. ;3
Furthermore I've dabbled with the idea of tying an increasingly large pregnancy into increasingly great magic powers, in which case it's tantalizing to keep going but at the same time being gravid is an increasingly large liability, and naturally it's always fun to fool around with all kinds of screwy and embarrassing surrogacies. :P

Exactly! And both have their appeal for those reasons. That said, with UB, generally, I do like how I have pretty much complete control over what's going on, whereas, that isn't entirely the case with pregnancies. But yes, gestational gambles, finding out what a pregnancy will turn out, that's super fun too.

Well, I suppose "embarrassing" is somewhat in the eye of the beholder, but some of the ideas I've had in the past are :
- Accidentally running into and killing some of a farmer's animals while hunting for wild animals, then you're sentenced to replace the said animals.
- Being a poor predator who ends up becoming a live-in surrogate for rich prey couple for money, to be pregnant with pets they are breeding as dealing with a sapient mother is easier - having daily progression monitored, having to take on huge litters etc. would be the main embarrassment. :P
- Generally having to admit to friends that you "wanted to see how it felt" after secretly deciding to be a surrogate to some species which ends up ballooning your belly way larger than you expected, leading to a desperate need for help.
