Windows 10? Only one screen?

Windows 10 isn't something you need to avoid and not everyone needs multiple screens.

it is banned in the U.K. the government said "We are the only ones allowed to spy on our people!" use of a multiple screens makes graphic design or artwork actually easier since you can drag and drop between screens or do multitasking artwork. So informing me that Win 10 doesn't allow multi-screen capability tells me another reason i don't like win 10. also it makes a game cool because you have a wider field of view.

Uh...who said and why did you think Windows 10 somehow doesn't allow multi-screen? That's a hardware thing, nothing to do with software.

I'm running Win10 and have 3 screens just fine. Will take screenshots if you want proof.

i was going from off of what i assumed draggony implied, concerning multiple screens.

the spyware feature of win 10 is real however.

if you have any software that does not have a recent 2016 license windows will prevent you from running your computer. my experience thus far is with whatever virus Microsoft put out forcing me to upgrade to win 10. i am happy with win 8. but ms10 demanded i upgrade.

i refused. then they put a 'necessary file' for win 8 that disabled my computer completely through automatic update. I had to have my computer fixed by my software company for antivirus costing me 108 dollars. the 'upgrade' reset my computer to factory settings and deleted all of my programs. I bought a new wacom tablet with it came bundled software. i cannot re download the bundled software i bought that specific tablet for. i have to pay for a new download of the software that came in my wacon tablet box. my codes for the download do not work again. my photoshop was disabled and key dll's were deleted. i had to get another copy which i luckily had on a flashdrive. Microsoft deleted my games so i had to prove i bought them with steam/ this took some time since i had to remember the passwords i used since Microsoft deleted all my passwords and wiped all my serial numbers for my antivirus and other programs off my desktop.

so don't tell how great you fucking think mswin 10 is! it screwed up my computer so that i was another year behind getting commissions done! since most of my newer drawings were all done on the corel program. So i have to start all over again., another year wasted!

I can only fit one screen on my desk. and yes. windows 10, believe it or not, is the current opperating system that games will be running on. I don't think any new games can run on vista any more and they might not run on 7 or 8 soon.

they will still run on the professional versions of Win 7, for some time to come.

Not having any issues with windows 10 aside form Microsoft's doofy UI design. The system is normally hooked up to a 4k-40in samsung and a cintiq 27QHD but I have it setup in my downstairs gaming area right now for testing. thats where I had enough room to build it. XD

Its a bit old by today's hardware standards but it still gets the job done! When I upgrade my gaming rig this will get its GTX 970

the system is using a chassis designed by Digital Storm but I did the build myself. its a 5 year old X58 i7 990x setup inside of a much newer chassis

Haha. Already have the GTX 970. its in my primary gaming rig. when I upgrade the gaming rig to likely a GTX 1080 im going to shuffle its current GTX 970 in this rig and likely put this rigs GTX 460 on a shelf XD.

I have the GTX970 myself to. it's the EVGA version, not the factory default. and it's actually served just fine. been playing battlefield 1 and it's got this cool system that locks the graphical specs to just below the graphical memory limit that it can detect on your graphics card. while the Geforce experience app suggests higher graphical specs for the game to be set at, I prefer letting the game set it'self since it can actually detect how much G-ram my card has.

Ahhh well its still the gold standard for a gaming PC GPU. Cheers

Definitely a great gpu and more than enough to handle new titles at very solid fps. Thanks for the advice though I appreciate it! I agree the 1070 is deffinitely worth the extra cash especially for anyone considering getting into 2k+/ 4k or vr. 970 might be a good option if purchased on a deeeep discount but it wojld have to come in below the 1060 price and with some of the Pascal architecture features/ improvements I'd likely take 1060 over 970 at the lower price points.

Very nice. I just finished upgrading mine last night too! (To be fair though, my upgrade just brings me from a mid range system from 2012 to a higher end system of the same year).

So long as you get more frames and stuff that's all that matters.

Only a tiny bit. Same GPU. Which is pretty damn old. Theres newer games I cant even run on it. Saving for a new one though. Probably wont get that till middle of year at earliest though.

get an rx480 or gtx1060. anything more than that will be held back by the rest of your setup, also if you don't have one already reinstall your windows to an SSD... I cannot live without one now XD

I would like a SSD, but that will wait. I was gonna get a 1060 6gb, but going to save for a 1070 instead for now.
