Today's Foxy Friday offering is Violetta again, except this time, due to having to re-install all new Software, I decided to draw traditionally, using a set of Grayscale Markers, to do a portrait of Violetta and what she does, other than shooting things with an AK. She's a commercially rated pilot. I used to do a lot of work in Markers in college, and I still like to dabble with them and I will do Marker commissions at conventions as well, sometimes. Damn I love seeing traditional media....there is just so much digital art saturating the boards that 'old school stuff' is a welcome refresher!
There's a vintage look to this (despite it being futuristic) that I just adore--I think it's the warm greys. Something about them gives it that old-photograph feel despite the content.
Kudos! (do more traditional stuff! ;)
